What can beat a smiling cowgirl with a little white dress and blue cowgirl boots? I can't think of nothing....(and I know that's a double negative but that's just how i talk). hehe ;P

Well, I guess good music can beat but barely.....love me some bluegrass...

1 timothy 4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

1 timothy 4:12 is a great verse for us who are slightly scared or afraid of going out and telling others about Jesus. I think why many Christians are kept back from witnessing boldly is a obstacle called confusion. We think we have to be perfect little Christians who are very good and "niceynicey" all the time. God wants us to serve and work our best at being Christians but He knows we're just human (hey, sounded like a good excuse). No, but really.....telling others about God really is just an action....if we help people, listen to people, give someone a smile, a lift, a gift. Show someone that He has changed you for the good, not for your glory but to show that it's all Him. He doesn't expect us to be a big priest and anoint someone today......he justs expects us to be who we're created to be....servants for christ who love people for who they're and just love GOD. Take that with you today! Don't be afraid and don't let anyone despise you because you're young because with God anything is possible.

Just a lil' thought....

Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but the fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Try listening to God today....if he is trying to speak to you, make sure you are clearing away the things in your heart that are before him. Anything can be an idol...anything. Maybe Facebook?Tv?Books?Even Christian books can be an idol..I have let that become more of an idol than probably anything. God wants all of us...not 10%, 50%, or 75%. He wants 100%....all of us.. and it's a daily walk...everyday we should give ourselves up again. It sounds like hard work but we're are sinners and constantly falling. Isin't it wonderful that He loves us and understands our needs and weaknesses?

"Thank You God for loving even me....for I am so undeserving. May I please you and not stray from the fold.
If there is anything....anything that is in the way of my relationship with you, may I clean it out of my life.....for you are above all else. Amen."

Little Rissa loves her daddy!
I am so thankful for a daddy who loves us unconditionally and he works hard everyday to keep us fed and clothed.:) But he does so much more than work so we can lead a normal life; he works with us,teaches us,and talks to us about things that are important to us.

Thank you God for a Daddy who loves You.

Ya know?

This year has been a different one as every yr is......
I have had many trials.......BUT I believe I have drawn closer to Him though the trials he has brought me through.:)I am so thankful for His guidance and assurance.Without him i know I would be so lost...I wouldn't be able to live...

So......I got to get rid of the crazy metal maze my orthodontist put in my mouth.lol:)YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!(Still wearing a retainer but not for much longer...lol)

I have became friends with people I never dreamed I would be close to....:)Friendship is so neat(:

I have found new artists to listen to recently and haved finally picked up an instrument and with God's strength and help I will keep with it.=)

There are many things I have overcome and learned over this yr...but it would take till next yr to tell so....I just want you to know...

If you do not know God as your personal saviour(and this means as your personal friend and

confidant) and you are stuggling with your conscience(Holy Spirit)...I encourage you to give

in...it's not worth arguing with God.He will win and He is just trying to draw you closer to Him

(James 4:8).If you have had close loss or suffering,we all do...and you're angry at Him don't be

He has a reason for everything and every situation under Heaven (Ecclesiates 3).I know because

He has shown His ways to me and forgiveness IS REAL. believe me

There is no better year than to come to Him then this one and no better time than now.
He is reaching out His hand...clasp it and hold on................

1.Bluegrass Festivals:)I got Dailey and Vincent's autograph!WoooHooo!!:D

2.Fall Came!:)I love fall.:)

3.I learned many new things about the violin.:)

4.I got to play volleyball sev. times!It was fun and I learned a lot!:)

5.My cousin turned 30!

6.My parents had their 15th anniversary!!Hurrah!!

7.My grandpa's cancer is getting better by results.:)PTL!!

8.I have grown in Christ some over September.:)

9.I've got some good photography this month.;)

10.I have had a friendship bloom this month.:)

The Lord has blessed me this month and I am ever so thankful!!
Can't wait to see what October holds!!:D

Is Anyone Listening?...Does Anyone know my Name?

Yet the severe earthquakes have passed and a month or more has passed,I think we have forgotten how many are STILL suffering.
May you watch this video and get inspiration to pray for those hungry,and suffering Haitian people who are experiencing those real crosses and burdens,that we "think" we have everyday.

A Time for Everything/Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

1 There is a time for everything,

God's Word has all the simple,plain,answers to everything....something I'm learning as I read His Word everday.:)To bad more people don't read th Word....it would eliminate alot of trouble in thier lives.;)
