1 timothy 4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

1 timothy 4:12 is a great verse for us who are slightly scared or afraid of going out and telling others about Jesus. I think why many Christians are kept back from witnessing boldly is a obstacle called confusion. We think we have to be perfect little Christians who are very good and "niceynicey" all the time. God wants us to serve and work our best at being Christians but He knows we're just human (hey, sounded like a good excuse). No, but really.....telling others about God really is just an action....if we help people, listen to people, give someone a smile, a lift, a gift. Show someone that He has changed you for the good, not for your glory but to show that it's all Him. He doesn't expect us to be a big priest and anoint someone today......he justs expects us to be who we're created to be....servants for christ who love people for who they're and just love GOD. Take that with you today! Don't be afraid and don't let anyone despise you because you're young because with God anything is possible.

Life has shown its ugly face to me in the last few weeks as I struggle along with the "joys" of youth. And though my problems are so, so itty bitty compared to many others, I am a spoiled person and hate it when life doesn't go right....well I've learned how to handle it now. I am blaming Adam and Eve.=) No, just kidding!
I have learned that even though life is full of sin and a lot of evil, I can rejoice in my deepest pit. You know why?

Because He walks with me.

Remember that today...maybe your loved one is sick,your having trouble with the bills, the stress and toll of life is too much for you to handle. Don't worry, He's there to handle it for you.

1 John 4:7 says if we do not love we do not love God and we are not of God. Don't misunderstand my point-not all families are supposed to adopt. God has a special plan for everyone.....but just think about it.:)

How are all?

I am doing good and I'm a keepin' buzy right through this hot summer.:)

I am relaxin but getting things done too,today I made a pound cake with my friend's recipe for it.yumm...it was good.:)I would put a picture of it on here but its not the prettiest cake and I am lazy.:P I just got in from helping dad change a flat tire on one of our vehicles and I helped him take pictures of his 2+3 yr. old calves to sell on Craigslist.:)I like helping my daddy.:DHeres some of the pics. Our camping trip...

Hello All,

I am so sorry I haven't got on here very much lately.:(

Well,we just got back from a neat camping trip down in Arkansas.We went to the first state park to be in Arkansas:Petit Jean Park.Very neat!:)The history of a young french girl who disguised herself as a boy to come to the Americas is a VERY fascinating story.

Anyway, we didn't get to stay as long as we wanted because of the weather and my dad's cold/sickness.:(Oh well!:)We really had fun the days we did get to be there!:)And I had awesome fun cooking over the fire and preparing meals for the family.:)(I know its SO hard to believe,but I am REALLY a pioneer girl @ <3>

haha.:)

I'm BACK!!!!:)

Hello All!!

I have missed all of you-I have been sick for two long weeks and I am still trying to recover.:(
I know.......a long time!:( We have figured out that it is a viral sickness going around and we happen to know some other people that have had it too.It is a long sickness and frankly I am sick and tired of it.:(

But before you think I am a spoiled rotten 13 yr. old,let me tell you some things.:)
While I've been sick,I've had to trust in God majorly because I would NEVER get better,it was NOT fun.See,I've had to go to school sick and it goes fine all day till this spell that all the people that have had this sickness get it @ about 2-4 o'clock.Then I would get the chills,fever,my ear hurts,and I get sick ALL over again.Thanks to God,I only GO to school two days a wk. :}
Anyway,I felt like I would never get well and day after day,I would get better and then in the afternoon,I'd get sick ALL over again.So you see my problem??:)

Well,I thought that I knew how to trust God,but evidently NOT!!!:)
Because I was sick everyday,I had school to work on,and I wanted to plan for my wonderful summer,BUT it was beginning to feel like I would never even see the summer.;)
So there are many trials during this time in my life.But I knew God wasen't going to give up on me ,so I wasen't going to give up on Him.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

These are God's promises and we as Christians need to believe them,besides if we never go through any trials we won't be tough and strong in the really hard times.God is with us always and I am glad that even when I hurt alot and I felt all alone in my trials-God was there with me and he listened to my cries,along with my parents,and other extended family.:)

And guess what!!!With God's help,I am hopefully getting better-FOR GOOD!!!:);)

These are some of the books that my Parents would like me to read in 2010 among others that I have piled up on my dresser.:):)
What is funny is they're PAYING me!!!Thats hilarious since I would read them anyway b-cuz I LOVE to read.:)So anyway I am getting paid to read these books that are very interesting!:)
Do Hard Things is a book written by twins Alex and Brett Harris ,you might be familiar with thier older brother's book I Kissed Dating Goodbye.:)

Anyway Do Hard Things is a book about the "REBELUTION",doubt you have ever heard that word before,thats because they made it up!REBELUTION is a mix between rebellion and a revolution: rebellion against low expectations and a revolution to change the way today's teens do things.:)I am impressed so far with the book and I encourage whoever can to read it.:)

Its really good!

Also, 25 Surprizing Marriages is a REALLY interesting book,its about several famous christians and revivalists and their marriages.A very clean ,interesting,christian,good,book.:)Recommended!!!!!:)

Walking with Him....

I can't believe we only have 2 more days of the yr!!!
I think personally I have strengthened in the Lord more this year than in any other year of my walk with Him.:D

Walking with Jesus is the best thing that you could choose to do in your whole entire life.:)

I think God is looking down on us and chuckling at our efforts to understand ALL the things He is doing in our world at this moment.:)

And even though thngs look dim sometimes(especially on the news:} )Hes right up there watching over us and taking care of all the controls on this crazy rollor coaster we call LIFE.:D lol:D

Anyway,I can't believe it is almost 2010 and I am sure it will tak awhile to adjust to the 2010 part of it!;)

Hello everybody,How is everybody?

I am doing good,one of our puppies died today.It was a runt,it had an affection,and it didn't get enough milk.I tried to save it,but it didn't work ,when they're that little and sick you just can't do much.At least it wasn't a girl,since we only have 3girls out of the litter and they bring more money.

Oh Well,I just wanted to share that w/ you guys.
I have some picts. of Big Shot's last ball game,I didn't get to go ,but the rest of the family took some picts. for me.What' neat is that Big Shot and his cousin have played ball together since t-ball.They're 3 months apart,they're real close.Tonight they're floatin' on the river together since its so hot.I didn't go since I have to make Sour bread.Oh,yah I forgot to tell you guys that my sourdough worked ,I got a jar of starter in Bakersville by Mansfield.I though it would be neat to try it,and It WORKED!!!!!YES!Ithis is my third time to make it.
